The Good Dog New Orleans

The Good Dog - New Orleans - Sean OShea

I was about to return my dog when I met Sean. I gave him a week to “fix” 4 things: Come when I call; Get along with cats; Separation anxiety; Housetraining. He accomplished it all in 5 days. The best.– Robert L.

Owner & Training Coordinator

Although born and raised in Los Angeles, Sean has been coming to his second home of New Orleans for over 20 years. Sean is an internationally recognized figure in the dog training world, with two highly successful training DVDs, a much-lauded new training book, and the Train The Trainers seminar series for aspiring dog trainers. Sean built The Good Dog Los Angeles into THE training option for those seeking the very best training solutions possible. Owners will often travel several hours and even from out of state to bring their dogs to Sean’s L.A. team for help. Bringing the same amazing training opportunity to New Orleans has been a longtime dream for Sean. TGD Nola opened its doors in 2012 and has already developed a reputation for delivering results and care that simply aren’t available anywhere else. Once again, owners are traveling for hours and from out of state…this time, to see the team at The Good Dog New Orleans.

Head Trainer & Client Support

Shelby, born and raised in New Orleans, spent several years in the doggie daycare world before she made the jump to training. She spent a full year studying personally with Sean and his team in Los Angeles, learning how to handle the most serious of cases. Shelby brings an awesome amount of in-the-trenches training know-how and a fun, easy-going vibe to client interactions and support.

Client Support & Operations Manager

Alexis brings years of both dog training and administrative skills to The Good Dog table. Having had her own challenging dog issues she’s worked through, she’s uniquely qualified to help clients find just the right program to help them solve whatever problems they might be facing. She also keeps everything in TGD land running smoothly.

I brought my dog, Pinto, to Sean with severe leash-reactivity and separation anxiety. After working with Sean, Pinto came back relaxed and non-reactive on the leash.– Ami B.
